What we collect and why

  • Visiting this site: no cookies, analytics or trackers. Our host keeps short server logs (such as IP address and browser) to run and protect the site.
  • Booking a demo or emailing us: your name, email and what you tell us, to reply and to prepare the demo. Our reason is our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps you ask for before a contract.
  • Organiser accounts: your name and email to sign you in, and the events, areas, wristbands and taps you create. Our reason is the contract with you.
  • Guests at an event: the organiser decides how Tappas is used and is responsible for guests’ data. We process it for them under a data processing agreement, only to run the event. Guests should contact the organiser first. Contact sharing is off until a guest turns it on, and each guest picks what they share.

We don’t sell data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Who helps us

  • Vercel hosts this website.
  • Our own server runs the dashboard and its database.
  • Resend sends sign-in and service emails.
  • Calendly handles demo bookings.
  • Stripe handles payments at the bar, when an event uses them.

Some of them are outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Emails and demo bookings: up to 24 months after we last talk.
  • Organiser accounts: while the account is open, then up to 12 months.
  • Event data: until the organiser deletes the event or asks us to.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@tappas.events and we’ll reply within a month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
